UPDATE....60%- WOW!!!

Hi friends! I'm working on full-blown website for better communication while I'm in Malawi. It will have picture albums, my blog, about me pages, etc. Sorry for not keeping this more up-to-date!!! I hope my website will be MUCH easier for your viewing and updates. 

Well I'm sooo thankful for all your prayers over the past few months! I am learning a lot about trusting God and realizing that His timing is best. As most of you know, I hoped to have already moved to East Africa- but I'm so glad that I have taken time to meet with family, friends and churches to raise support! THANK YOU for all the financial support that has already come in! I'm at 60% and I just need 25% more to purchase my flight. SO...I'm still not sure of the exact date I will be departing. I'm just enjoying the last few weeks with my family and friends before heading off to MALAWI! 

Continued prayer for my support and a good transition time on both ends!!!

Preparing to go...

Thanks for checking my blog! I am hopeful that this will be a great way to stay connected 'half a world away'. Along with monthly newsletters that will be mailed out to family and friends (send me a message if you want to be included and are not already) I will update my blog more regularly with daily life in Malawi!
There is so much to do before landing in Blantyre, but I know that it will get finished and I will be ready to board my plane in January '09! Please check back for updates on departure dates and support raising.
